| Day 1 Australia / Guilin | |
| Fly from Australia to Guilin (via Guangzhou or Hong Kong); you will be met at Guilin airport and transferred to the hotel. |

| Day 2 Guilin / Yangshuo | Meal: B/L/D |
| The highlight of Guilin is the Li River cruise, a 5-6 hours cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo passing through various strange and wonderful mountain formations. When you arrive at Yangshuo you will have time to roam the local market. You will be back to Guilin in the late afternoon. |

| Day 3 Guilin / Longsheng | Meal: B/L/D |
| Day excursion to Longsheng. Longsheng is located in the mountainous region on the northeastern part of Guilin. The natural beauty and the colorful ethnic Chinese cultures and customs attract people from all over the world. You will visit Zhuang and Yao Minority tribes villages, and the beautiful terrace rice fields on summit of Longji (Dragon's backbone), which are built along the slope winding from the riverside up to the mountaintop, with the highest place of an elevation of 885m and the lowest 380m. Be transferred back to Guilin in the late afternoon. |

| Day 4 Guilin / Kunming | Meal: B/L/D |
| In the morning we will take you on a tour of Reed Flute Cave, a wonderful limestone cave with a dazzling variety of stalactites and stalagmites, Fubo Hill and Elephant Trunk Hill. After lunch, you will take flight to Kunming. Kunming is known as the "City of Eternal Spring" due to its cool summers and mild winters. You will spend two nights in Kunming. |

| Day 5 Kunming / Stone Forest | Meal: B/L/SD |
| In the morning we will visit the peaceful Yutong Temple and the Bird & Flower market and experience the vivid life of Kunming. Next we will travel to the Stone Forest Scenic Area. The Stone Forest is called the "No.1 Wonder Under Heaven". The area is a deeply eroded limestone Karst area, and is the highest karst terrain in the world. The unique natural sights and Sani folklore are characteristics of the Stone Forest Scenic Area. |

| Day 6 Kunming / Zhongdian | Meal: B/L/D |
Take morning flight to Zhongdian, also called Shangri-La, north into the Tibetan plateau of southeastern Kham. At 3,300 meters above sea level lies Gyalthang, which translated means the land of "Limitless Bounty". Hereunder blue Tibetan sky, are snow-capped peaks, virgin forests of immense spruce and pine, meadows ablaze with fragrant wild flowers, pristine lakes. The town of Gyalthang (Zhongdian in Chinese) is the capital of the Diqin Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. The prefecture is a treasure house of bio-diversity supporting about 7000 species of native plants among them azalea, rhododendron.
Visit of the Songzanlin Monastery, the Napa Nature Reserve, the local market and same local Tibetan households. |

| Day 7 Zhongdian / Tiger Leaping Gorge / Lijiang | Meal: B/L/BD |
| We drive from Zhongdian to Lijiang. On the way, we will visit the famous Tiger Leaping Gorge and First Bend of the Yangtze River. You will spend two nights in Lijiang. |

| Day 8 Lijiang | Meal: B/L/D |
| The old town centre of Lijiang is known as Dayan. Dayan Town was listed on UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites list in 1997. When you arrive in Lijiang you will be able to walk through Dayan Town to experience its culture. We will take you to visit a Naxi Village. The Naxi people are the main ethnic group of the town. We will also go to the Dongba Culture Museum. The Museum houses examples of the Naxi's writing, which is one of very few ancient pictographic scripts still in use in the world; then we will visit Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, which has a rich vegetation coverage, ranging from subtropical to alpine. We will take a cable car up the mountain and back. In the evening we will take you to the Naxi Ancient Music Show. |

| Today you visit Tiananmen Square, the largest City Square in the world. From Tiananmen Square, visitors enter the gates of the Forbidden City. This massive complex was the centre of the Ming and Qing dynasties. With almost 10,000 rooms, this remarkable, well-preserved imperial palace is the largest palace in the world. After lunch, take a tour to the Temple of Heaven, a Ming Temple where the Emperors performed annual rites essential for the well being of their land. Dinner is served at your hotel. |

| Day 12 Beijing | Meal: B/L/SD |
| Today you visit the Great Wall of China. This is the pride of China and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It is one of the most amazing man-made structures. After climbing the Great Wall, you will head off to the 2008 Beijing Olympic venues of the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube for a photo stop. Then you will take trishaw ride to visit the Hutongs, which is an ancient city alley, to experience the life of the local people. Afterwards you take a traditional Chinese sculled cruise on Houhai Lake, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery while listening to Chinese music played by a local on board (available from April to October). Dinner tonight is the famous Beijing Duck Banquet. |

| Day 13 Beijing / Yichang | Meal: B/L/D |
| This morning you visit the Summer Palace, which is the largest and best preserved of all the imperial palace gardens, and boasts such delights as the "Marble Boat" and the ornately painted "Long Corridor". Next you are transferred to the airport for flight to Yichang where you board your 5 star deluxe river vessel the MV Century Star Cruise. |

| Day 14 Yangtze Cruise | Meal: B/L/D |
| Depart from Yichang on your voyage upstream. Passing through the five-stage ship lock system on the north bank, the boat will be lifted through the locks more than 500 feet. Shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam site, passing through Xiling Gorge, followed by tonight’s Captains welcome dinner. |

| Today you pass through Wu Gorge in the morning and take a shore excursion to Lesser Three Gorges or Shennong Stream. This afternoon we pass through the Qutang Gorge. |

| This morning you take a shore excursion to the Snow Jade Cave or Shibaozhai. This afternoon relax onboard. Tonight is a farewell dinner on the cruise. |

| After disembarking in Chongqing this morning, you visit Erling Park, where you get a bird’s eye view of this amazing city, then onto the Great Hall of the People and Chongqing Zoo to see the Pandas. This afternoon you fly to Xian, the most historical city in China, it used to be the capital of ancient China for 11 dynasties. You spend two nights in Xian. |

| Today you visit the "Terracotta Warriors". They are found at an archaeological site which so far has yielded some 8000 ancient terra cotta soldiers and horses, each a unique, finely detailed sculpture. You then visit the famous ancient City Gate, followed by a delicious dumpling banquet and a stage show at the Tang Dynasty Theatre. |

| Take morning flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, you board your coach to Suzhou, referred to as the “Venice of the East” because it is built around a network of canals and bridges which fan out from the Grand Canal. Suzhou is also famous for its charming gardens. Dinner is served at your hotel. |

| The Suzhou tour will begin with a visit to Tiger Hill with its Cloud Rock Pagoda. The pagoda is the symbol of Suzhou; it leans a bit to one side like the "Leaning Tower of Pisa" in Italy. You also visit the picturesque "Humble Administrator’s Garden", which is best-known garden in Suzhou. The next stop will be Suzhou’s number one silk factory where you can witness, step by step, the production of the finest silk in China. |

| On the way to Shanghai, you visit the small historical water town of Tongli, where you take a cruise on its zigzag waterways. This afternoon you board the coach to travel to China's largest city, Shanghai. Spend two nights in Shanghai. After dinner, we will head to the theatre to see the amazing display of Shanghai acrobats. |

| Today you tour the city of Shanghai visiting Yu Yuan Garden, a classical Ming Dynasty garden with pavilions, towers and terraces, followed by the Chenghuangmiao Bazaar. After lunch, you head to the new district across from the Bund called Pudong to experience the economic boom of China. Afterwards you visit the Bund and Nanjing Road, the longest shopping street in China. You can also do your last minute shopping at the Longhua Market or Taobao Market before you head back to your hotel. A western dinner is served tonight. |
